Eco-toxological laboratory
The eco-toxicological laboratory was created in order to satisfy the necessities of a new approach in the study of the quality of the environment and of the products which are used in it.
Many of the tests done by the eco-toxicological laboratory are accredited ACCREDIA.

Among the more important are:
- testing for acute and chronic toxicity using algae, crustacea and ichthyc species
- testing for algal growth using selenastrum capricornutum
- testing for biodegradability and bioaccumulation
- biological monitoring of water courses using the Extended Biotic Index (I.B.E.)
- characterization of the ichthyofauna using electro-stunners
- testing for phyto-toxicity with lepidum sativum and lactuca sativa
pH srl is authorized by the Ministry of the Environment to carry out analysis for recognizing the suitability of dispersing agents and absorbent products to be used in the sea for rectifying contamination by petroliferous hydrocarbons (Prot. DPN/3D/2003/8152 dated 15.12.2003).
