Biomolecular laboratory
The bio-molecular laboratory is made up of three physically separated rooms where the operations of DNA extraction, preparation of the reaction mix, and amplification and DNA recognition are carried out.
Most of testing methods used by our lab is accredited by ACCREDIA.

The bio-molecular laboratory is able to carry out :
- quality and quantity determinations of genetically modified organisms (OGM) on raw materials and finished products
- yeast identification in winemaking
- identification of the animal species in processed meat, salamis and hams etc, canned meat, cheese, milk and animal food
- testing for traces of salmonella and listeria within 36 hours
- testing for traces of bovine milk in sheep, goat or buffalo milk cheese
- testing for traces of soft-grain wheat flour in hard-grain wheat flour
- testing for traces of antibiotics
